On the bus from ANA Hotel to Narita, I heard the Japanese announcements say something about cell phones, and I assumed it was an overly polite plea to not use them. Then the English translation said: “Passengers are reminded to not use cell phones while on the bus, as it annoys the others.”
Yeah! Raaar! Why can’t they have that announcement on every train, bus, plane and store in America?

Going to Narita? Are you flying home for the equinox?
Have a safe trip if you are… If not, why would you go to Narita? And why wouldn’t you take the train?

last night my dad and I saw “Ray” (it Rocks!) and not one, but two cells went off during it’s run. Was it David Cross who said, “ya know the first coupla years it was funny and a little annoying when it would happen, but people it’s been 10 years! Get the @#$%^&* clue!”
Most importantly, would ‘bbbm’ extend that McD’s visit to me if i cleaned my room reeeaaallll good in colorado?!!
Happy Festivus, Kids!

I read this the same day I’m thinking that about a lady in front of me. It’s sad when your in the drive thru and you can hear the person in front of you on their cell phone. How loud does one need to be. She’s in the car in front of me and I can hear her over all three of my kids.
I don’t know what was worse the lady or the fact that all three of my kids actually cleaned their rooms, forcing me to fullful my promise and take them to McDonald’s.

Tony - The train’s a pain with suitcases (not the express itself but getting to it).
BBBM - In Japan, we call it MacuDonarudo.
Mala - You ran away again! Did you hate Typepad?
Merrie - Bonk!

Last week, I saw Oceans 12 at the multiplex cinema in Georgetown. Midway thru the movie, the guy sitting in front of me, whips out his cellphone, dials a girlfriend and proceeds to make plans with her for after the film. I seriously considered dumping my bag of popcorn over his head…. but - seriously - I was in awe that this guy had the gall to hold a conversation with someone in a packed theater in the middle of a movie!
