bigkid

Christmas is coming to Roppongi Hills, and little people with oversized heads are invading the stores.
The good news is I discovered that the entire Roppongi Hills tower has a free wi-fi signal, and I just finally found a copy of Richard Thompson singing “Oops! I Did It Again.” And, of course, I haven’t jumped off the building yet.

My coworker and I were trying to get a cab to go to lunch the other day, and several taxis with no passengers passed us by (not super common but happens occasionally to Westerners here). Another coworker, who was walking back from lunch and is black, shouted “Now you know what we feel like.”

It was funny to all three of us at the time.

moses

For some reason I don’t think they are using this imagery on the promos that come with pizzas delivered back in Joplin, Mo. Couldn’t we technically say that Moses is, in fact, cutting the cheese?

The past five months have been pretty damn tough.
I’m still alive.
