Wow … I go dramatic about the gloomy weather and the next day it’s perfectly sunny, clear, warm and wonderful. It lasted more than a few minutes and nobody locked me into a closet. The remnants of some typhoon hit around 4:30 a.m., but didn’t phase me. Now all is good.
YeY.
Just so you know…the sky is grey with spitting rain here on the Hill and the forecast is preparing us for torrential rains…but at least you can get good sushi. Enjoy.
WHAT is that magnificent building?
Oh – BTW – thanks for that link. Reading your post brough back a memory of some story I’d read in grade school. Sure enough – that’s it – from my “Cinnamon Peaks” reading book.
I had no idea it was a Ray Bradbury story. No wonder it made such a lasting impression.
Mala … it’s a big-ass development that popped up a couple years ago called Roppongi Hills. It’s got offices and shops and a theater and all sorts of stuff. I like it because it’s close to home and a very handy way to find my way back if I get lost (and I’m relatively nearby).
There’s a restaurant in there that really, really knows how to make a good burger, even if it does cost about $11.
