I want to know what is up with the Magic Johnson tie in? Did you notice that in the terribly generic and disgustingly patronizing "corporate impressionalist", mural posted in the Penn Ave. facing window the words "Magic Johnson" are written? And inside there hangs a picture of the ex-basketball star sipping a latte? Is he the store manager? what the f#$k?

I am sure the payless is greatly missed... Ok maybe not.

I think you're angry because hooligans dafaced that pristine, lovely wall. Darn hooligans...

Did your community accept Espresso tax? heehee

In colorado we have successfully reintroduced the lynx to society: They now check stocks, order lunch online at Einstein Bagels and vanilla lates at Starbucks in Safeway stores!

And taking Paris with it, apparently:

"It is with the utmost respect and admiration for the cafe society in France that we announce our entry into the market," Starbucks chairman Howard Schultz said in a statement.
"Historically, French cafes have served as the 'third place' to authors, philosophers and artists," he said, adding that he believed Starbucks "will fit well into the French cafe tradition."

Les Fleurs du Mal indeed.
