Tonight is the Modern English/Berlin/Flock of Seagulls show!
I know, I know … chances are none of these acts has all the original members performing. And seeing the lead singer of Flock of Seagulls now could give me nightmares.

But I ran to get tickets anyway because I know it will be a trip. I didn’t want to spend my life just wishing I’d seen any of these groups live. You should go, too. I mean, how cool is it that all three bands stretched their hands across the sea so that we could go all nostalgic and relive the old days?
Modern English is my favorite of the three. I spent many a summer staying up late with ink and paper listening to those tapes. Some of those songs used to literally take my breath away, and I’d stay up all night thinking and writing until the dawn chorus made me realize it was time for bed. I still remember those summers in my dreams.
Your heart is telling you to go, because it knows that the more you live the more you love. And you love the old stuff. Tease your hair a little extra a come meet me at the 9:30. Don’t even bother riding on the Metro, there’s almost always plenty of parking.
OK, no more words … I gotta head to work!
and some of us got to share the music-ride with you…happily!
“there’s something in the air but I know it won’t carry me…” have fun at the show, oh music guru.
